SANParks has confirmed the arrest of four individuals suspected of pickpocketing on Signal Hill in Cape Town.
South African National Parks has confirmed the apprehension of four pickpockets on Signal Hill in the Table Mountain National Park .in the TMNP. Park authorities have had to remain on alert after a series of reported pickpocketing incidents in the Signal Hill area.
Signal Hill is a popular viewpoint for Cape Town sunsets year-round. Visitors tend to gather and picnic on the paragliders’ launch pad.The suspects were closely monitored during the stakeout for several hours, until they tried to steal a cell phone from one of the park visitors. The SEAM Team members reacted swiftly and swooped in on all four pickpockets while they were attempting to flee.urging all Park users to exercise caution while enjoying outdoor activities in TMNP.
