Four P.E.I. men charged in relation to an assault that took place at the Evangeline Acadian Festival earlier this year have had their cases set over into January. - SaltWire NetworkSUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Four P.E.I. men charged in relation to an assault that took place at the Evangeline Acadian Festival earlier this year have had their cases set over into January.
The men had their cases called in provincial court in Summerside on Dec. 7. Their lawyers all requested more time to review the disclosed evidence from the Crown’s office and all will be back in court on Jan. 18 for a further update. One of the victims was an employee at La Coopérative d'intégration francophone , while the other was a CIF client.
