Founder of Calgary charity wants to ensure spotlight stays on Ukraine yyc

, recently spent two weeks in Ukraine delivering medical supplies and aid to residents while also rebuilding a family’s home. He said that while he was there he saw firsthand the struggles residents are facing as several buildings around where he was staying were bombed a week after he arrived.

After seeing the conflict up close, Bahl said he is worried that there may be some “funding fatigue” and that the spotlight is moving away from the country. He said organizations working in the country still need help as fuel in Ukraine is difficult to come by and expensive when it is available, and that many Ukrainians need help getting around the country or getting the medication that they need.
