A former police station in Wirral has been renovated into a pub named The Harry Beswick. The £3.6m investment includes the acquisition and restoration of the building, which had been unoccupied for almost a decade. The venue is set to open in a few weeks and is expected to retain the heritage and character of its former life.
A £3.6m investment - £1.3m acquisition, £2.3m restoration and refurbishment - was made to the building which had been unoccupied for almost a decade, following the closure of Heswall police station in 2014. Signage has been installed at the Telegraph Road, Wirral, venue - to be renamed the Harry Beswick - with its doors expected to open in a few weeks.
Hydes brewery acquired the building last year. The building looks breathtaking, retaining a great deal of heritage and character from its former life.
