Two fire engines attended the scene of the fire which started shortly after 9pm
The fire broke out at Institute FC's former home ground, Riverside Stadium on the Glenshane Road in Drumahoe, shortly after 9pm on October 26.
The stadium was destroyed in severe flooding in August 2017, with the team unable to return to the pitch after an infestation of Japanese Knotweed. Institute, who play in the NIFL Championship, now host home fixtures at Derry City FC's Brandywell stadium.
