Florence Masebe bids farewell to ‘Skeem Saam’

Legendary actress Florence 'Flo' Masebe, who portrayed Meikie Maputla bids farewell to SABC1's soapie, 'Skeem Saam'.

“It’s almost time to say goodbye to the Turfloop bunch. Thank you for the beautiful ride. See you on the next… Ndi a livhuwa. Aa”, she wrote., whose last scene was on the 5 April 2024. This comes after actress Harriet Manamela, who played the first Meikie Maputla was placed on sick leave.

@Sello_Cr: “We don’t even realise you are not the original Meikie. You are playing it so well, just like the rest.” @IamthabangK: “I was getting used to enjoying your acting. Ah man, I am sad right now. Thank you for the entertainment. You really made us enjoy the new Meikie Maputla.” The legendary actress announced on Monday, 6 May that she had hip replacement surgery at the beginning of the year.
