The Cape of Good Hope SPCA hurried to the scene in response to the situation, under the direction of Chief Inspector Jaco Pieterse and with the assistance of a committed team of five inspectors. Their mission was not just to rescue the terrified horse but also to ensure the safety of the motorists on the road.Upon their arrival, a kind-hearted bystander had already managed to calm the spooked Flash, who had suffered a severe leg injury among other wounds.
