A new image from TheFlash shows an even closer look at Multiverse Barry Allen's new suit, revealing more details of what appears to be a Batsuit transformed into a suit fit for a speedster.

A new The Flash movie image shows an even closer look at Multiverse Barry Allen's suit, as Ezra Miller is playing numerous incarnations of the DC hero in the upcoming movie. After several years of being stuck in development hell, The Flash film is heading to theaters next summer. The DCU movie will focus on the Scarlet Speedster attempting to change his past by going back in time to save his mother from her grim fate. However, this causes The Flash to get thrust into the Multiverse.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY While The Flash won't release for several months from now, the DCU product was recently featured at this year's CCXP. Through Flash Film News, a new image was shown at the event depicting illustrations of the new Flash suits from the movie, likely showing designs that will be used in merchandising. The art sees Miller's main version of The Flash from the regular DCU continuity as well as another version of Allen's The Flash.

The Flash art reestablishes that the alternative Barry will take a Batman costume and dye it red and yellow. In the footage shown at DC FanDome 2021, though, the new Barry was never seen wearing a cowl, but this new images shows the look of the suit's mask. Not only that, this new images appears to show the alternate universe Barry's mask is made out of the Batcowl with the ears taken off.

Until more footage is shown for The Flash movie, it's hard to guess what they are doing with this alternative take on Barry and just how different he will be from the DCU's version. However, the fact that they are wasting no time with Barry meeting another version of himself says a lot. The Multiverse has always been one of the bigger aspects of the hero's DC mythology, and the DCU is taking advantage of that for Barry's first feature film, similar to The Flash TV show.
