AKA ARTIST-RUNPhoto by Xiao HanDough Nation by Saskatoon-based artist Xiao Han is a billboard project on display through May and June on the AKA and PAVED shared billboard space.
“I hope this billboard-community fridge project can stimulate awareness about food donation and resource sharing. As an artist/curator, I created Dough Nation to generate and foster and sustain community relations between artists and the cultural fabric of Saskatoon and the restaurant owners and businesses of Saskatoon,” Han said.The Grand Walk by Deb McLeod is on display in her solo exhibition at Gallery on the Greens through June.
The Saskatoon artist returns to his hometown to showcase new and recent artworks in this solo exhibition. Through several mediums, the work focuses on social concepts relating to Indigenous mobility and empowerment.
