Over 100,000 visitors are expected for the four-day festival

With just days to go until Europe’s biggest Halloween festival begins in Derry, the local council has issued traffic and travel advice to ensure visitors avoid any unnecessary delays or diversions.

These arrangements will also ensure the safe delivery of the event, and everyone is being asked to follow the directions of stewards and police. Strand Road Car Park will offer accessible parking only on the 31 st October, also on an first come, first served basis. Please note that in the interests of health and safety, the Peace Bridge will be closed from 7pm on Tuesday October 31st in advance of the display , reopening at 8.45pm.
