Fern Britton shared a selfie from her hospital bed with her arm in a sling to let fans know she had undergone shoulder replacement surgery to address the pain in the joint
Fern Britton has undergone shoulder replacement surgery after arthritis in the joint had left her in constant pain.
In the caption, she wrote: “Morning all!! shoulder replacement done and a success. I can’t thank the staff at #StMichaels #NHS hospital in Hayle, cornwall, enough. She went on: “See you soon .. when I can train my left hand to put a bit of lippy on without looking like The joker. And if you are in a similar situation I send my love.”
“I'm waiting on a list for a surgeon to sort it out. It's very boring when your body starts to be in pain all the time.” She made the comments just weeks after ex-husband Phil was pictured kissing her best friend, Lorraine Stanton. The pair insisted they were just friends and Fern was forced to address the issue on social media.
