'Fear The Walking Dead' finally offers up a mostly good episode Sunday night with 'Humbug's Gulch' and a familiar face joins the cast.
'Humbug's Gulch' nudges 'Fear The Walking Dead' in the right direction, but it still has a long ways to go.has not been off to a very good start in Season 5, but Sunday night's episode 'Humbug's Gulch' was a step in the right direction. The episode felt like a zombie Western, with some good old fashioned gunslingin' courtesy of John Dorie.
One thing leads to another and he agrees to come with them, though not before he runs back to their car which he thinks his wife has left a message for him in . This leads him to despair and suicidal thoughts, but June talks him down. All of this works just fine, and I was happy to actually enjoy an entire segment ofDwight joins the Fear cast.
At this point, the group is contacted by the kids they met earlier this season and they tell them that they'll meet them back at the truck stop, though they don't actually say truck stop since they're trying to keep their locations off the radio where prying ears might discover them. The big twist is when we cut to the next scene and see the two older siblings, stringing up a zombie road block. It turns out that they're the ones doing this, though we don't clearly know why just yet. They've sent their little brother in as a spy because they don't trust these mysterious new strangers and want them gone as soon as possible.
