Liam Stark, 22, was sentenced to 300 hours of unpaid work after he assaulted and abused a vulnerable 88-year-old woman.
The family of a vulnerable OAP who was filmed semi-naked and exploited on Snapchat have shared their fury as the carer who assaulted her had his community service paused.
In the disturbing footage, the elderly woman could be seen wearing only a t-shirt and underwear. Stark was initially charged with sexual assault, however, he pleaded guilty to an amended charge at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court in January. He will appear again on October 28 for a further review. In the meantime, his CPO has been suspended. One of the pensioner's sons, Kevin Payne, 58, told the Record: "We feel like there has been a total injustice and that we are back to square one. Stark is dictating his own punishment - he's dictating to everybody, including ourselves and the courts when he is going to do his community service.
"My family is disgusted and appalled that his community service could just be put on hold. We are reliving the whole process all over again when justice should have been served months ago, this is just delaying that process."
