Escape to the Chateau stars Dick and Angel Strawbridge are set to make a shock return to Channel 4 following their feud with producer and show axing.
Dick and Angel Strawbridge are poised to make a comeback on Channel 4 , following their leaked tirade with a show producer.
This decision was made amidst allegations of 'bullying' producers during filming, however, Dick and Angel maintained that there are 'two sides to every story'.Despite this, reports suggest that the pair will return to Channel 4 with a new series. "Despite severing ties with the Strawbridges, it was always the plan for executives to broadcast the show at a later date. Channel 4 have scaled back on promoting the series and haven't altered their stance on working with Dick and Angel in the future following the completion of their internal review."
However, this career pivot came after Channel 4 decided not to work further with the couple due to an independent investigation of their conduct during the show by production company Two Rivers Media. Two Rivers Media also weighed in, confirming their decision to cut ties with the couple as well: "We can confirm that we will no longer work with Dick and Angel and cannot comment further at the moment."
