Dick and Angel confirmed the 'exciting news' on Facebook
Escape to the Chateau's Dick and Angel Strawbridge have announced they are returning to Channel 4 with a brand new show.
In September 2022, Dick and Angel confirmed the ninth series of Escape to the Chateau would be their last, leaving fans of the popular programme devastated. A Channel 4 spokesperson later told our sister site, Mirror Online: "Following a review we have taken the decision to not work with Dick and Angel on any new productions in the future."
But it appears the decision has been reversed, as the much-loved couple said on Facebook: "We have some very exciting news & we want you to be the first to know!READ MORE: George at Asda's £14 'lightweight' jacket for 'warm days with showers' "We are back on Channel 4 with our brand-new travel series ‘Secret France with Dick & Angel' starting Sunday 2nd June at 8pm. it's been an voyage of discovery and we wanted to find places that were off the beaten path, where tourism hasn't overshadowed the local culture.The ECHO understands the three-part series will take viewers with the family as they journey across France.
