Dit kom na die klub die knieg met 43-9 teen United CCC Brakpan Rugbyklub tydens ‘n Valke Peregrine-liga stryd by Bosman Stadion op 22 April gebuig het. De Vos is van mening dat die Valke Unie ernstig sal moet kyk na hulle finansieringsstrategie om klubrugby onder alle rassegroepe gestand te hou.
