'We must go back to communities with humility': Mokonyane as ANC gears for 2024 election
JOHANNESBURG - The African National Congress has officially kicked off its election campaign for next year's general election, where it aims to maintain its national majority.
The party on Sunday concludes its two-day national elections workshop, held at the Birchwood Hotel in Boksburg. The workshop included representatives from the tripartite alliance, all its leagues, and provincial branches.First deputy secretary general Nomvula Mokonyane said the workshop was to formulate a clear campaign approach for all ANC members across the country.
"The president has already set the tone and key in his message is that every member and supporter of the ANC is a volunteer of the African National Congress and that we must go back to our communities with humility and present the successes we have been able to achieve, acknowledge the challenges."
