The Scotland under-21 cap skippered Lincoln City to an EFL Cup win against Sheffield United to earn a third round tie against West Ham.
Former St Mirren star Ethan Erhahon insists there’s no better feeling in football than pulling on your national jersey.
The reward for that success is a mouth-watering home tie against West Ham at the end of September, with 22-year-old Erhahon already relishing the challenge against David Moyes’ Europa Conference League champions. “We lost our opening game away to Bolton but we haven’t looked back since then. Then the cup game against Sheffield United was exceptional.
“I wanted a big platform to try and showcase my skills and to take on English Premier League teams already is perfect. “But I know from playing in every age group that there’s nothing better than pulling on that Scotland shirt. It’s always an honour and hopefully one day I will do that again.” He said: “I’ve still got St Mirren TV and I watch the games whenever I’m not playing at the same time.
