Liverpool have been involved in a number of controversial decisions only four games into the Premier League season
Liverpool fans will this week be given the chance to hear discussions between Premier League referees and the VAR regarding how decisions are made.
Further insight will now be provided on Wednesday evening when 'Match Officials: Mic'd Up' is shown at 8pm on Sky Sports, where a similar format to the previous edition will follow. According to ESPN, former Reds striker Michael Owen will be among those to feature on the programme. Liverpool wrongly saw Alexis Mac Allister shown a red card for a challenge on Bournemouth's Ryan Christie last month, a call VAR lead Paul Tierney failed to overturn, although the decision was successfully appealed.
