Emmerdale star Lawrence Robb has shared a bit of a rhetorical question in front of viewers as he responded to emotional scenes in which Belle Dingle admitted for the first time that she has suffered mental and physical abuse by her husband Tom King.
During Thursday night's Emmerdale , viewers saw a special episode, titled Through the Looking Glass, in which Belle considered three different scenarios as to how life could play out. The episode picked up from Tom threatening Belle, vowing he will never let her go. His words trigger a dream-like day for Belle, as she envisions potential outcomes of her future life while trying to escape Tom. The narrative follows a disoriented Belle leaving her home, with each scenario she imagines unfolding within the Emmerdale village.
It was when reality set back in, that Belle was seen leaving her home and rushing to Charity Dingle to bravely disclose her abuse in detail which resulted in powerful yet harrowing scenes for Eden and Charity co-star Emma Atkins.
