The IFP is going into one of the most pivotal moments in its modern history – the first election without its inseparable leader, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi.
The party is on a high from its winning streak against its political rivals, the ANC, in the recent municipal and by-elections in KwaZulu-Natal. The IFP is set to launch its manifesto on Sunday at the Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban, against the backdrop of sustained by-election wins since the 2021 municipal elections.
