The ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa wrapped up his campaigning in Mitchellsplain in Cape Town on Friday while the EFF deputy president Floyd Shivambu rallied support for the Red Berets in Braam Fischerville in Gauteng.The DA will hold its final rally in Soweto on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the IFP paid a courtesy visit to the head of the Shembe church in KwaZulu-Natal hoping to secure an endorsement. Newcomer the African Transformation Movement also secured its own endorsements when religious leaders from different faiths met with the party's president at a dinner on Friday night.
