Parliament is indulging in a severe case of ‘Do as I say and not as I do.’

Liberals and NDP members on the committee are in favour of the permanent hybrid model, while Conservatives and Bloc Quebecois are not. In a system where MPs vote along party lines, it really isn’t necessary for individual members to be in the House to do that. The solution is obvious. In the next election, candidates should tell voters how they intend to work — at home in their pyjamas or in the House of Commons.
