MPs can and should make only laws that the people themselves want

Though the issue stems from environmental law regulations, it had little to do with the environment and SA’s continuing struggle to balance the health of the planet with corporate interests. Instead, it was a purely procedural victory, placing the fault squarely at the foot of parliament, rather than a victory for either the corporations or environmental activists. ..
