Blackpool has the highest number of households eligible for the payout , meaning that £8.7m will be handed out to struggling families in the area. But when compared to the size of the population, residents of Blackburn with Darwen are most likely to benefit.Households could be eligible for this payment if they are in receipt of benefits including Universal Credit, Pension Credit, and older benefits such as Jobseekers Allowance and Income Support.
