The Wellington Dukes padded their hold on third place in the OJHL’s South-East Conference and now have second place in their sites.
The Dukes scored 3 goals in the second period and that was the difference as they defeated the Cougars 6-3 in Cobourg. Ryan Smith scored a goal with two assists. Jacob Vreugdenhil added his 20th of the season and Ethan Morrow stopped 28 shots.Wellington moves 3 points ahead of Cobourg and sit 3 points behind second place Haliburton.
