Van Dyk Park resident Dorry Naidoo has made a difference as the Boksburg Child Welfare chairperson for many years.

Dorry has been the chairperson for the past six years and was the chairperson and deputy chairperson between 1996 and 2011. He then took a break from the organisation until he took over the reins again in 2017.“We have expanded our services and have three offices – the Boksburg CBD, Reiger Park and Vosloorus. We also expanded our outreach programmes aimed at empowering the youth and helping those affected by HIV/Aids.”“Like many NPOs, we struggle to get people to become part of the organisation.
