Breaking local news in Boksburg
Note that the Boksburg Christian Brother College's Parent College Partnership 's inaugural Cheers Big Night Out fundraiser will take place on September 28, and not September 27 as reported in this week's Boksburg Advertiser .The event will start at 16:30 and feature top entertainment from award-winning singer-songwriter Christiaan Baartman and comedian King Nqoba Ngcobo, known for Backstage.
PCP chairperson Taso Spanos said Boksburg CBC will be turning 90 years old next year and the PCP plans to use most of the funds raised from this event to beautify and prepare the school for this special occasion. Spanos said the Cheers Big Night Out event will provide a vibrant atmosphere for adults to unwind in without venturing far from home.
