The City of Cape Town has confirmed that the temporary discolouration of tap water reported in parts of the city has cleared.
Last week residents in eastern and central areas in Cape Town complained of dirty water coming out of their taps.Residents told to boil their dirty water
Areas that were affected on 17 October included Strand, Khayelitsha, Grassy Park, Lansdowne, Belthorn Estate, Lentegeur, Lotus River, Claremont, Pelikan Park, Portland, Philippi, Crawford, Macassar, Ikwezi Park and Primrose Park.water in many affected areas has clearedIf residents notice any further discolouration, they are encouraged to report it for further testing.
