The singer says it took her a while to open up to her parents.The singer says that she identified as bisexual before learning later that she is actually"pansexual".
'"I was like, 'Hey, I need to tell you something.' I was like, 'I like girls, too,' and he was like, 'Yeah, I know. You have Cool for the Summer out'."Telling her mom came right before she could go on a date with a lady she was seeing at the time. Demi says she feared that the media might cover the date and she didn't want her mother to find out that way.
"So I sat my mom down and said, 'I need to talk to you,' and I said, 'I'm about to go on a date with a girl and I just wanted you to know and hear it from me that I do like girls too'."She says she is grateful for the support she received from her parents.
