The TV chef sadly passed away last month at the age of 66 following a cancer diagnosis
Dave Myers shared a touching last message on his final Hairy Bikers episode before he died. Dave Myers, the much-loved TV chef, sadly died last month at 66 after battling cancer.
On Tuesday night's show, Si said: "We've done it, but more importantly he's done it. He's my mate but I love him like family, like a brother, and I'm lost for words. It's quite remarkable what he's done."Dave also said: "Who knows what the future holds but for the moment I'm living in the present, and it's pretty fine." After the show ended, there was a message for Dave that said: "In loving memory of our friend, Dave Myers.
"But what's lovely is the optimism of looking forward, and certainly on the food front. It's very, very exciting and very optimistic. We've got the best of the past and the best of the future." Sadly, Dave passed away at the end of February. His wife Liliana Orzac and his co-star Si announced the sad news.
He continued to share how much Dave's family meant to him: "His beloved wife brought him such happiness as did her children, Iza and Sergiu who Dave loved like his own. Personally, I am not sure I can put into words how I feel at the moment. I wish you God's speed brother; you are and will remain a beacon in this world. See you on the other side. Love ya."
