Hairy Bikers star Dave Myers has sadly died at the age of 66. The TV chef was diagnosed with cancer in 2022. Dave's Hairy Bikers co-star Si King announced the sad news on social media, writing that Dave "passed away peacefully at home" with his wife Lili, his family and Si by his side.
“All who knew Dave are devastated at his passing. His beloved wife brought him such happiness as did her children, Iza and Sergiu who Dave loved like his own. The statement continued: “I know Dave and his family would want me to thank all of you who sent messages of support in recent times. It meant the world to him, his family and all The Hairy Bikers team.
Dave revealed in 2022 that he had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy treatment. The TV presenter took a break from filming The Hair Bikers Go West with co-star Si to receive gruelling treatment over 18 months.
