Would you use this new taxi service when in Vancouver?
A new ride-hailing app called Kater will launch this month in Vancouver. But not everyone is on board with the service, which has the support of Vancouver’s taxi industry.
The service, which will operate using taxi licences that were recently issued to the Vancouver Taxi Association, will be tested beginning March 30, and will be available before the province allows ride-hailing companies such as Uber and Lyft to operate in B.C.
