Strong performance from forward Oliver Smith leads the team to victory

In a penality-filled affair at Chelmsford Arena, the Greater Sudbury Cubs tore up the Espanola Paper Kings 8-3 in Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League action from March 16.

Around five minutes later, Smith would do it again, this time on the power play, again assisted by Sobush and the Cubs were up 2-0. “The home side countered with a trio of tallies to put themselves up by six after 40 minutes, beginning with a Sobush shorthanded effort half way through the contest after he was gifted one after blocking a clearing attempt, that left him with an open net,” the club said in a news release.
