Using the air fryer means no messing around with pans and butter and delivers perfectly crisp French toast.For serving: Maple syrup, icing sugar/powdered sugar and berries. Using a sharp bread knife, slice the bread into thick fingers or slices. Remove the bread from the custard and place it into the air fryer basket lined with parchment paper. Spray with oil, then air fry for 4-5 minutes at 205°C, flipping over halfway through cooking, until golden brown and crisp on both sides.
