Keith Egli compared the decision the developers had put before council — approve this parking lot plan if you want the apartment build to go ahead — to “being asked to play chicken.” “I just cannot fathom that there is no other way to achieve these parking spots and that the whole development would be would be pushed aside and not carried forward over this minor amount of parking spots,” said Egli, who ultimately voted against the application.Article content
