The chief executive of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council could be in line for a retirement package worth upwards of £1.2million after leaving on health grounds.
Ms Donaghy retired "on health grounds" after more than a year on suspension amid a council probe into bullying and harassment allegations. Based on 52-year-old Ms Donaghy's pension value increasing by around £39,000 a year, this could be worth up to an extra £585,000. The outgoing chief executive was suspended from her role in December 2021 amid a council probe into bullying and harassment allegations.
When asked about the case, Mr Winters said: "The tribunals service will have this case registered as withdrawn.
