Investigators believe the deadly stabbing of a man, 18, outside of a Downsview hookah lounge early Friday may have been captured on video.
Toronto Police say officers responded to the vicious stabbing in the parking lot outside of the Cleopatra Hookah Lounge – near Dufferin St. and Finch Ave. W. – shortly after midnight.
“The victim was located behind the commercial plaza and appeared to have been stabbed,” Homicide Det.-Sgt. Leslie Dunkley said in a statement released Saturday. “Lifesaving efforts were attempted but the victim later succumbed to his injuries.”murder victim of the year.“At approximately 12:28 a.m., patrons from the party became involved in a verbal altercation in an adjacent parking lot to the lounge, which led to a physical altercation,” he explained.
