Community groups, businesses and people can apply for additional funding for projects that will make a difference in local neighbourhoods. Mansfield District Council was allocated £2.95m in December 2022 to cover three years as part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in which applications are now open.
This route offers a maximum of £15,000 in grants for projects that will make a difference in local areas. However, bids for projects over £15,000 can be made through The Mansfield UKSPF Communities and Place. Applications for this route are open now through the council’s website.Elected Mayor Andy Abrahams said: “I am so pleased to see these opportunities being opened up and am delighted we can invite applications to both the council and the CVS. The £2.
“I encourage everyone to submit projects to these grants before the fast-approaching cut-off date.” The deadline to apply for both funds is February 8, 2023, and all projects must be able to commence expenditure before March 31, 2023.
