A legend of the parcel route 🥰
The business has been blamed for missed deliveries, missing parcels and package nightmares across Lancashire, and beyond. But one community in East Lancashire tells a different story.
Maria Fogarty set up a Go Fund Me page on behalf of her neighbours as a thank you for going "above and beyond" as he delivers parcels to the people of the area. The intended target was to raise £100 for Iain, but as the community rallied together, it has now reached £1,629. Maria thought the fundraising page would only raise about £100 for a 'Christmas drink or whatever he chose'. It took less than a month for it to exceed £1,000.
The news of Iain's praise has come contrary to a wave of criticism aimed at the courier service. Back in November, Evri was named the worst parcel company for the second year running according to a league table by Citizen's Advice.
