ICYMI: Coldest Night fundraiser back in Yarmouth on Feb. 25 | SaltWire
Teams participating in last year's Coldest Night of the Year fundraising walk in Yarmouth departed from the NSCC Burridge Campus. TINA COMEAUYARMOUTH, NS – SHYFT Youth Services is encouraging Yarmouth residents to once again team up, fundraise, and walk in The Coldest Night of the Year event.
The Yarmouth walk begins and ends at the NSCC Burridge Campus, located at 372 Pleasant St. in Yarmouth. Participants will walk a 2-km or 5-km route, can warm up with toasty drinks at rest stops along the way, and will be able to celebrate their efforts together at the finish line.This is SHYFT’s fifth year taking part in the Coldest Night of the Year, and they’re aiming to raise $40,000 for their work with people experiencing hunger, hurt, and homelessness in Yarmouth.
Tens of thousands of Canadians will take to the streets for CNOY with events taking place in 150 cities, towns, and communities across the country.
