He may be known for starring as Dr Rash Masum in BBC's Casualty since 2017, but viewers may recognise actor Neet Mohan from his stint in another very popular BBC One show
Since arriving in the ED back in 2017, Rash Masum has become a firm favourite among Casualty fans. Played by actor Neet Mohan, the charming doctor has had an emotional journey on the BBC show and was recently seen struggling following the unexpected death of his dad Ashok.
The 38 year old could be seen in series one of Line Of Duty where he played PC Simon Bannerjee alongside the likes of Vicky McClure and Martin Compston. In the show his character was also brought up in series five of the show when Ryan Pilkington claimed he’d been inspired to join the force by PC Bannerjee.
After being referred to in series five in 2019, fans took to social media to make the connection between Neet’s role on Casualty and Line Of Duty, with some even speculating that he could be the mysterious H. “It was particularly personal for Matt and we were talking about how, with both of our experiences, we were talking about male suicide,” he said.
