Mercy crews were scrambled to Halbeath Road in Dunfermline yesterday afternoon
Emergency services scrambled to the scene of the crash on Halbeath Road in Dunfermline shortly after 2pm. Cops locked down the road and were joined at the scene by an ambulance and a fire appliance.
Images from the scene show a dark-coloured motor stuck on its side in the middle of the road, with cops surrounding the vehicle. Firefighters can also be seen using ladders in what appeared to be an attempt to gain access A second car is seen partially on the pavement, and members of the public were snapped around both vehicles before mercy crews arrived. Items from one of the motors are strewn on the road, which is blocked off by two stationary police vans.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.10pm on Wednesday, July 12, officers were called to a report of a two-car crash on Halbeath Road in Dunfermline. Emergency services attended and there were no reports of any injuries.
