The Cape Town Fashion Week has made its return to Cape Town and promises to be a show stopping experience on and beyond the catwalk.Following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event runs from 22 to 25 March and is likely to see hoards of fashionistas flocking to the Cape Town International Convention Centre .

The celebration of Africa’s top creative talents shows off an interactive experience, offering a week of opportunities for designers and other stakeholders to network and sell their products to buyers. “Events are steadily returning in full force after the devastating impact the pandemic had on the industry,” said mayco member JP Smith. “We are thrilled to welcome back Cape Town Fashion Week to the Mother City.”

“It makes me extremely proud that Cape Town is recognised as an important global fashion city alongside the likes of New York, Paris, and Milan because we provide an enabling environment to nurture and showcase Africa’s sustainability and creativity.”
