Mitchell Balmas of Sydney was returned to the Iowa Heartlanders after being called up by the American Hockey League's Iowa Wild on Oct. 26. The 24-year-old Balmas appeared in 17 games with the Wild, posting a goal and six penalty minutes. He hadn't suited up for the Wild since Dec. 30. Balmas has played three games with the Heartlanders this season, posting three assists and two penalty minutes.

Balmas and the Heartlanders will continue the regular season this weekend when they face the Fort Wayne Komets on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Iowa.@CBPost_JeremyIt has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
