SYDNEY, N.S. — A Supreme Court judge has reserved decision until November in the case of a Glace Bay man facing charges of robbery and break and enter.Charged is Jarrot Bradley Currie, 32, who, at the start of his trial this week, entered not-guilty pleas to 10 charges.
He is charged with two counts of mischief relating to property damage and the cutting of a taxi radio cord, and single counts of break and enter, robbery with violence, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. The individual was wearing a hoodie, ball cap and a mask. The individual fled the store with some cigars, vapes, cigarette rolling papers and lighters.
When confronted in his vehicle, Hiscock said the robber was wearing a hoodie, ball cap and a mask covering his face from his nose down. He said both O’Neil and Hiscock never saw the full face of the culprit and their claim it was Currie should be rejected.
