SYDNEY, N.S. – A pair of Cape Breton Eagles players were named to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League team of the week for the period ending Nov.
Defenceman Xavier Daigle and goaltender Oliver Satny were part of the team, released by the league on Monday.
The 17-year-old Daigle appeared in four games with the team and had a goal and four assists with a +4 rating. Meanwhile, former Eagle Zachary Gravel of the Chicoutimi Saguenéens was also named to the team. Gravel had six goals and nine points with a +5 rating in four games last week. Blainville-Boisbriand’s Josh Lawrence, who was traded to the Armada from the Eagles in the offseason but never played a game in Cape Breton, Shawinigan’s William Veillette, and Gatineau’s Vincent Maisonneuve were also named to the team of the week.@CBPost_JeremyIt has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
