CAF Members 'Suggest' New 2025 AFCON Dates
With CAF yet to confirm when the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will be held, some of African football's member associations have reportedly suggested new dates for the continental showpiece.
With a number of new dates having since been suggested, AFCON 2025 hosts Morocco will not be able to hold the spectacle at the beginning of 2025 because it is still improving its stadium infrastructure for the 2030 FIFA World Cup, which it will co-host with Spain and Portugal., some of the football associations and federations on the continent have suggested that the next AFCON be held from July 20 to August 17 in 2026, shortly after the FIFA World Cup that year.
