The council hosted a National Day of Prayer for the upcoming elections, where SACC President Archbishop Thabo Makgoba said politicians should never forget they are servants of the people.
JOHANNESBURG - The South African Council of Churches has prayed for the election of ethical leaders who will not be corrupted by money.
Acting Secretary General of the council, reverend Mzwandile Molo, said those elected needed to do their best to solve the country's challenges.
