Boksburg FC senior team beat Edenvale 6-5 in a thrilling friendly encounter at the JP Bezuidenhout Stadium on February 7.
Edenvale punished Boksburg FC in the early minutes of the first half when a diagonal pass was intercepted by the midfielder of the home team which led to the first goal of the match. The goal came from Sabelo Sityeni.
Phawsana tried another long-range shot but it went wide. Both teams went on the attack but opportunities were missed.Boksburg FC tried to level points, but both of their attempts were denied by the goalkeeper of the home side. Boksburg equalised through a good play from their right winger Onalenna Mokoke who took on the defenders. Half-time the score read 2-2.
A substitute for Boksburg, who was introduced in the second half as a left winger, Musa Langa, scored immediately after coming onto the park. Boksburg led 5-2.
